Last year, Vitalcare launched a new "Sensor Technology" approach to wellness in Aged Care.
This new paradigm is based on a Predict & Prevent methodology where serious illness, falls and hospital visits for residents can be minimised by collecting, collating and using resident metrics information to evaluate often subtle changes in resident health.
Many clinicians have noted that residents don’t fall ill suddenly, they just notice suddenly.
Making this information readily available to carers and managers in an easily understood format is also key in reducing data recording and analysis workloads, as well as being invaluable during handovers and shift briefings.
This solution is now an integral part of Vitalcare's Nurse Call Platform (Felix) and is partially illustrated in the image below.

Join us for an informative session that explores how this new technology can improve patient and resident care while reducing costs and workloads.
